Welcome aboard the USS Tokyo!
"Sometimes you have to fight for the things that are worth fighting for." - Arrietty.
The year is 2397.
With the recent escalations of violence and unrest within the Alpha and Beta Quadrants, Starfleet recognised a need for a fast ship that can be deployed as a rapid response vessel. After six years of development Starfleet Corps of Engineers started to lay down the spaceframe for four new carrier type vessels, the USS Armitage, USS Tokyo, USS Oceania and the USS Broadsword.
The Armitage Class vessels are an upgraded version of the highly successful Akira class starships. They are designed as rapid response attack carriers, capable of high speed deployment of fighters and auxiliary craft as well as specialist operations in deep space. These first two vessels of the class, USS Armitage and USS Tokyo were launched in 2390 and have been in service since.
The USS Tokyo is the second vessel of the class and is currently commanded by Captain Taiga Aisaka. The Tokyo's main mission is to patrol the Federation's Neutral Zones, shipping lanes and eliminate any threats to protect the security of the Federation. From managing civilian traffic to engaging potential invasion forces the Armitage classes are built to defend the security of the Federation and this is the Tokyo's main mission.

10 Years!
Yes, you read that correctly!
Today marks the founding of the USS Tokyo, which was Ten Years ago today! In all honesty, I never thought that this ship would last ten years. It is a milestone that few Star Trek Sims/RPG's ever hit. The average life of a Star Trek sim is 4-5 years, so hitting 10 is remarkable.
Hitting this milestone is not just a testiment to the ship, but also to its crew and every single one of you. I often describe this ship as a home, and a family and we have now some of…

Merry Christmas!
On behalf of the command staff of the USS Tokyo, I would like to take a moment to wish every single one of you a Merry Christmas for 2024! We've had an absolutely fantastic year! I am so proud of every single member of this crew. It's not often that a group of writers gel so well together and pull it off not only fantastically, but in their own style!
This year we had one of our longest running missions in the entire history of the Tokyo and you guys were throwing ideas, subplots and everything into it!…

To all crew!
First of all I want to thank you all for another fantastic year aboard the Tokyo! Whether you've only been here a month, or numerous years, you have all been a wonderful crew and group of people to write with! The Tokyo has become more than just a Star Trek RPG on the internet. We have become a close knit group of friends, and family! I can't thank you enough for all of your efforts and support throughout this last year!
With that aside, I want to take a few moments to talk about this time of…

Mission: Flight Of The Valkyries
Posted on Fri May 29th, 2026 @ 2:20am by Captain Taiga Aisaka & Lieutenant Commander Ryuuji Takasu & Lieutenant Commander Nyxala Valentine
Nyx adjusted the standard uniform of the day on Starbase 43 and even the white lab coat that the nurse had insisted she wear, embroidered with 'Doctor Nyx Valentine' on it. She missed her own standard uniform, but when visiting another place, do as the Romans do was the standard. She accepted a PADD outside the room in the ICU that belonged to her Captain, from yet ANOTHER nurse, glancing over the vital signs and blood chemistry readings and nodding, "Any indications towards regaining consciousness?" She asked.
"We have an increase in cortical stimulation in the last ten minutes, Doctor,…

Connor sighed. "Another fighter is currently out of commission Commander. Gemini is currently docked with another fighter. Both seem to be alive, however their maneuverability... not suitable for this mission."
Thomas paused, "Send a message to the fighter, pull back, we will pick them up after we are finished with the mission. With no maneuverability they won't make it through the field."
"Commander," The voice of Karuta came over the comm channel. "I believe we can bring Ensign Kagamine's Fighter aboard using the docking tractor beams. We can then send out Lieutenant Kusuda again to command her wing." She…

Mission: Flight Of The Valkyries
Posted on Thu May 28th, 2026 @ 10:17pm by Ensign Melantha Hastings
The doors to Junior Officer Quarters 8-217 slid open with a soft hiss.
The compartment beyond was larger than Melantha had expected, though hardly grand. Four private bedrooms opened onto a shared common area furnished with a modest seating arrangement, a wall-mounted viewscreen, a small replicator alcove, and a compact workstation. Personal effects had already begun to transform the otherwise standard quarters into something far more individual.
One corner was immaculate—every item aligned with almost unnerving precision. A stack of PADDs sat arranged by size on the low table, and a set of storage containers had been labeled with machine-like…

Mission: Flight Of The Valkyries
Posted on Wed May 27th, 2026 @ 8:55pm by Captain Taiga Aisaka & Lieutenant Commander Nyxala Valentine
Nyx finally settled down in the mess hall of the Starbase's medical wing. She'd checked up on the Captain before coming down to grab breakfast, but there wasn't much new in the way of things. Taiga hadn't woken up yet, which worried Nyx somewhat, but the body had ways of healing that were still a mystery here near the start of the 25th Century. Her vitals were stable and holding, even without outside support, so they could have patience.
She looked down at what the replicator had spat out for her and paused. It was something she would consider normal…

Taiga seemed so small, laying there on the table, her stomach still distended from the recent pregnancy, but that would reduce until it was barely noticeable naturally. Small and helpless. Blood pressure was still lower than she liked, but reasonable and her breathing was now assisted just for the sake of safety. A dedicated anesthesiologist was present to monitor the sedation levels, not something that she'd have to wing. Nyx smoothly removed the tape from the incision and inspected it to make sure no harm had come to it, "Retractor pressors." She demanded, being handed them and once again opening…

Just had my Welcome Aboard appointment with our Chief Medical Officer, and to my own surprise, I think it went rather well. That’s not something I say lightly, considering I’ve never been overly fond of people in the medical profession. My discomfort isn’t rooted in anything dramatic or life‑threatening, just a deeply unpleasant experience when I was eight years old. I won’t go into the details, mostly because I’d rather not relive them, but it was the sort of childhood ordeal that leaves a mark. I remember being miserable for days afterwards, confused and upset in that way only a…

First officers log
Over the last twelve hours, there has been so many things going on, being informed of a massive attack being planned, involving six armitage class starships, and hundreds of fighters. Being reassigned to another ship to lead a mission, only to be needed back on the Tokyo while en route to mission.
The mission is now being taken care of by our new chief security officer, and though I have utmost trust in his abilities. Being part of that, would have been something to remember. But now I am being tasked with an even bigger task.
With…

I’ve only been aboard a very short time, and yet somehow I found myself invited to a wedding for a couple I had never met, Ensign Lynette Bishop and Chief Petty Officer Yoshika Miyafuji. They seemed pleasant enough, but the whole situation felt… accidental, as though my name had been added to the guest list purely because I happened to be part of the crew. A courtesy gesture, nothing more. And while I genuinely appreciated the thought, it didn’t change the fact that I barely knew a soul there.
During the ceremony, I stayed toward the back, trying not to…

My Dearest Joran,
I’m writing to you from the small confines of my new quarters aboard the USS Tokyo. I’ve just finished unpacking some of my boxes (including that little holo-frame you gave me on Trill) and I thought of you halfway through stowing away my tool kit. The Tokyo’s corridors are a little narrower than I remember the Republic’s, but the hum of the engines is every bit as reassuring. I’ve already found my favorite view—on Deck…

Air Boss' Personal Log,
With the unexpected arrival of Admiral Miyahara, my old CO, I find myself in an awkward position: The crew of the Tokyo are counting on me to do the right thing and help them fight this, but at the same time, I can't in good conscience disagree with the man who has become my mentor. To do so would alienate myself from not only him but the friends I still have aboard his ship.
I still consider the Myogi my home, and her crew my family, contrary to the Tokyo where everyone is quick to make…
