Welcome aboard the USS Tokyo!
"Sometimes you have to fight for the things that are worth fighting for." - Arrietty.
The year is 2397.
With the recent escalations of violence and unrest within the Alpha and Beta Quadrants, Starfleet recognised a need for a fast ship that can be deployed as a rapid response vessel. After six years of development Starfleet Corps of Engineers started to lay down the spaceframe for four new carrier type vessels, the USS Armitage, USS Tokyo, USS Oceania and the USS Broadsword.
The Armitage Class vessels are an upgraded version of the highly successful Akira class starships. They are designed as rapid response attack carriers, capable of high speed deployment of fighters and auxiliary craft as well as specialist operations in deep space. These first two vessels of the class, USS Armitage and USS Tokyo were launched in 2390 and have been in service since.
The USS Tokyo is the second vessel of the class and is currently commanded by Captain Taiga Aisaka. The Tokyo's main mission is to patrol the Federation's Neutral Zones, shipping lanes and eliminate any threats to protect the security of the Federation. From managing civilian traffic to engaging potential invasion forces the Armitage classes are built to defend the security of the Federation and this is the Tokyo's main mission.

Happy 60th Star Trek!
September 8th, 1966 a new Television Show aired for the first time. No one back then could ever imagine that sixty years later it was still being watched, loved and had sparked the beginning of a franchise that would become legendary in its own right.
Gene Roddenberry had a vision all those years ago. A vision that humanity could be better, that we had put aside the need for greed, anger, war and suffering. That we could one day in the future build beautiful starships and explore the galaxy together, making friends along the way.
Thus…

It's the 4th of July.
Normally, I wouldn't make a special announcement for a holiday that's celebrated in just one country. However, today marks a truly historic occasion: the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States of America.
A large portion of our player base was born, raised, and still lives in the United States, making today a particularly meaningful day for many members of our community. While I've never had the pleasure of visiting America myself, I have a deep appreciation for the history of its people and the contributions they have made to the world.

10 Years!
Yes, you read that correctly!
Today marks the founding of the USS Tokyo, which was Ten Years ago today! In all honesty, I never thought that this ship would last ten years. It is a milestone that few Star Trek Sims/RPG's ever hit. The average life of a Star Trek sim is 4-5 years, so hitting 10 is remarkable.
Hitting this milestone is not just a testiment to the ship, but also to its crew and every single one of you. I often describe this ship as a home, and a family and we have now some of…

Mission: Kintsugi
Posted on Sat Sep 19th, 2026 @ 2:08pm by Commander Thomas Johnson & Lieutenant Nezuko
Thomas sat on the couch, Talia, finally got Wyatt down, and she had passed out as well. He however was still agitated. Distracted, about a lot. Getting up from his couch he walked over to the air lock, and after walking in, he took the breather from the shelf they kept it on, and placed it in his mouth. Ringing the chime, to her quarters he awaited a response.
Nezuko was awake reading when she heard the alert. She pushed a key on her PADD which, after verifying that it was safe to do so, wirelessly opened the door and…

Mission: Kintsugi
Posted on Sat Sep 19th, 2026 @ 1:32pm by Commander Thomas Johnson & Rear Admiral Rimuru Tempest
Thomas settled into his ranch office, it overlooked his meadows where the cattle, and horses were roaming, he opened the computer, and logged in, opening a channel to the Admiralty, namely Admiral tempest.
It took a few moments for the call to be answered. Soon, the image of Admiral Tempest appeared. "Hello Commander. I see you got back to Earth with no problems."
"Yeah, considering my decision. I will need time with both of my women... one has decided to remain on the Tokyo once I take command." Thomas replied. "Here for a few hours before I'm off to Amphea…

Mission: Kintsugi
Posted on Sat Sep 19th, 2026 @ 1:31pm by Tahuna & Commander Thomas Johnson & Lieutenant Commander Talia Johnson & Lieutenant Nezuko
He didn't know why he had went to the Captain first, was it because Talia and Nezuko were resting, or off doing whatever. He didn't know. However he walked into their quarters. Talia on the couch, Nezuko, she wasn't in the quarters, so she was probably in her own place next door where she was comfortable.
Walking over he sat down next to the crib in the corner. Just staring at the little one.
Talia was napping while their son slept, it helped to get rest when her son was resting to get her energy levels up. She opened her…

The steam that hovered above the teacup swirled and danced in the air as the contents slowly cooled. It sat on a wooden table, which was pushed up against the counter of an open-plan U-shaped kitchen that looked into the living area. The living area itself consisted of the table and four neatly arranged chairs, with the cup resting on the tabletop.
Opposite were two comfortable sofas that faced each other. One faced the large sliding glass doors that led to the back garden; the other faced the table itself. Set into the wall between the two sofas was a…

It was shortly after lunch when the Type 9A Shuttlecraft ferrying Amu and company to the Flemming dropped out of warp at the edge of the Komal Ship Yard, where the ship in question was currently taking on supplies in preparation for their mission out to the Pythos colony. In addition to Lynette, they'd also managed to convince Counsellor Trellis to tag along, as there was no doubt going to be several colonists who were going through a great deal of trauma with their latest ordeal.
A week of shoreleave had been enough to remind Counselor Ralen Trellis that he…

Personal log, stardate 97547.5, Well, the time has finally come. I have finished all the office work needed to transfer me back to active duty and reinstate my former rank. I was also given my assigent orders. I'll be heading out to the USS Tokyo the day after tomorrow, on an arrow class runabout that also ferrying a few other new replacements. Just had my Welcome Aboard appointment with our Chief Medical Officer, and to my own surprise, I think it went rather well. That’s not something I say lightly, considering I’ve never been overly fond of people in the medical profession. My discomfort isn’t rooted in anything dramatic or life‑threatening, just a deeply unpleasant experience when I was eight years old. I won’t go into the details, mostly because I’d rather not relive them, but it was the sort of childhood ordeal that leaves a mark. I remember being miserable for days afterwards, confused and upset in that way only a…

First officers log
Over the last twelve hours, there has been so many things going on, being informed of a massive attack being planned, involving six armitage class starships, and hundreds of fighters. Being reassigned to another ship to lead a mission, only to be needed back on the Tokyo while en route to mission.
The mission is now being taken care of by our new chief security officer, and though I have utmost trust in his abilities. Being part of that, would have been something to remember. But now I am being tasked with an even bigger task.

I’ve only been aboard a very short time, and yet somehow I found myself invited to a wedding for a couple I had never met, Ensign Lynette Bishop and Chief Petty Officer Yoshika Miyafuji. They seemed pleasant enough, but the whole situation felt… accidental, as though my name had been added to the guest list purely because I happened to be part of the crew. A courtesy gesture, nothing more. And while I genuinely appreciated the thought, it didn’t change the fact that I barely knew a soul there.
During the ceremony, I stayed toward the back, trying not to…

My Dearest Joran,
I’m writing to you from the small confines of my new quarters aboard the USS Tokyo. I’ve just finished unpacking some of my boxes (including that little holo-frame you gave me on Trill) and I thought of you halfway through stowing away my tool kit. The Tokyo’s corridors are a little narrower than I remember the Republic’s, but the hum of the engines is every bit as reassuring. I’ve already found my favorite view—on Deck…
