Welcome aboard the USS Tokyo!
"Sometimes you have to fight for the things that are worth fighting for." - Arrietty.
The year is 2397.
With the recent escalations of violence and unrest within the Alpha and Beta Quadrants, Starfleet recognised a need for a fast ship that can be deployed as a rapid response vessel. After six years of development Starfleet Corps of Engineers started to lay down the spaceframe for four new carrier type vessels, the USS Armitage, USS Tokyo, USS Oceania and the USS Broadsword.
The Armitage Class vessels are an upgraded version of the highly successful Akira class starships. They are designed as rapid response attack carriers, capable of high speed deployment of fighters and auxiliary craft as well as specialist operations in deep space. These first two vessels of the class, USS Armitage and USS Tokyo were launched in 2390 and have been in service since.
The USS Tokyo is the second vessel of the class and is currently commanded by Captain Taiga Aisaka. The Tokyo's main mission is to patrol the Federation's Neutral Zones, shipping lanes and eliminate any threats to protect the security of the Federation. From managing civilian traffic to engaging potential invasion forces the Armitage classes are built to defend the security of the Federation and this is the Tokyo's main mission.

It's the 4th of July.
Normally, I wouldn't make a special announcement for a holiday that's celebrated in just one country. However, today marks a truly historic occasion: the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States of America.
A large portion of our player base was born, raised, and still lives in the United States, making today a particularly meaningful day for many members of our community. While I've never had the pleasure of visiting America myself, I have a deep appreciation for the history of its people and the contributions they have made to the world.

10 Years!
Yes, you read that correctly!
Today marks the founding of the USS Tokyo, which was Ten Years ago today! In all honesty, I never thought that this ship would last ten years. It is a milestone that few Star Trek Sims/RPG's ever hit. The average life of a Star Trek sim is 4-5 years, so hitting 10 is remarkable.
Hitting this milestone is not just a testiment to the ship, but also to its crew and every single one of you. I often describe this ship as a home, and a family and we have now some of…

Merry Christmas!
On behalf of the command staff of the USS Tokyo, I would like to take a moment to wish every single one of you a Merry Christmas for 2024! We've had an absolutely fantastic year! I am so proud of every single member of this crew. It's not often that a group of writers gel so well together and pull it off not only fantastically, but in their own style!
This year we had one of our longest running missions in the entire history of the Tokyo and you guys were throwing ideas, subplots and everything into it!…

Captain Forger turned from the tactical display, jaw tight. "Any word from ze fighters? Ze ones still flying — what are zey doing out zere?"
The tactical officer cycled through the fighter frequencies, head down. A moment passed before she straightened. "Captain, I'm picking up a transmission between Sabre and Snowflake. One of the fighters has made it inside the station through the Akagi's breach. She's found what appears to be the power source for the beam weapon." She looked up. "She's requesting every available fighter to target her IFF beacon with torpedoes. Time on target strike."…

[USS Tokyo Bridge]
The fight was brief, the shielding around the bridge set up only allowed the few Heralds in, that was taken care of already. He had just enough power to strengthen the power to them. "Sir, we have got more boarding all over the ship, internal communications are reading Heralds and starfleet beaming over... ship to ship communications are offline." Connor replied checking a few systems that were operational. "Shields down to 10 percent we lost a chunk of our left side."
Thomas knelt on the floor, feeling that metallic taste and feeling several gaps in his mouth.…

"Starfighter Commander. Starship Tokyo is sending over Marine search and rescue squad to target starbase. Their mission is to extract the Starfleet away team. You are hereby ordered to provide escort to their drop ships. Copy?" Came the voice of Chief Roromiya from the Tokyo's TIC. Her cool and emotionless tone sounding through Fubuki's headset.
Fubuki reached forward and tapped a button to reply. "Copy that Tokyo. We have identified three potential areas of penetration into the structure. Assigning Starfighter Escorts now." she replied. She pulled up the scans of the starbase they had taken. The Akagi had opened…

(Interested in a JP where we discuss the upcoming strike on the starbase between Helm-Tac-Ops? I figured Connor would appear on behalf of Hunt since he's over on the Armitage)
Lieutenant Yuvek arrived at Holodeck 3 with a PADD full of navigational data and tactical projections from every Herald engagement the Tokyo had survived. The upcoming assault on the Herald starbase would be the most complex coordinated operation he'd ever flown, and getting the resource allocation right could mean the difference between success and another Starbase 234.
He sighed heavily as he brought up the particular program that he planned…

Connor walked into the lounge, it wasn't what peoples norm would do for relaxation, most would go to the bar, this was for a quieter place for where people wanted to think, to talk without the music, the alcohol, and rowdy atmosphere. Sure he liked those places, but this wasn't the time.
Melantha and Charlee were sitting by the window looking out at the stars. Charlee had her head in Melantha's lap and Melantha's hands were in the dogs fur. She had escaped her cabin, because it was not looking good there.

Personal log, stardate 97547.5, Well, the time has finally come. I have finished all the office work needed to transfer me back to active duty and reinstate my former rank. I was also given my assigent orders. I'll be heading out to the USS Tokyo the day after tomorrow, on an arrow class runabout that also ferrying a few other new replacements. Command has informed me that ill be getting my starfighter assignment upon arrival. Apparently, during the Tokyo's last time at a starbase, she was loaded with a few extra birds that were going to be transferred…

Just had my Welcome Aboard appointment with our Chief Medical Officer, and to my own surprise, I think it went rather well. That’s not something I say lightly, considering I’ve never been overly fond of people in the medical profession. My discomfort isn’t rooted in anything dramatic or life‑threatening, just a deeply unpleasant experience when I was eight years old. I won’t go into the details, mostly because I’d rather not relive them, but it was the sort of childhood ordeal that leaves a mark. I remember being miserable for days afterwards, confused and upset in that way only a…

First officers log
Over the last twelve hours, there has been so many things going on, being informed of a massive attack being planned, involving six armitage class starships, and hundreds of fighters. Being reassigned to another ship to lead a mission, only to be needed back on the Tokyo while en route to mission.
The mission is now being taken care of by our new chief security officer, and though I have utmost trust in his abilities. Being part of that, would have been something to remember. But now I am being tasked with an even bigger task.

I’ve only been aboard a very short time, and yet somehow I found myself invited to a wedding for a couple I had never met, Ensign Lynette Bishop and Chief Petty Officer Yoshika Miyafuji. They seemed pleasant enough, but the whole situation felt… accidental, as though my name had been added to the guest list purely because I happened to be part of the crew. A courtesy gesture, nothing more. And while I genuinely appreciated the thought, it didn’t change the fact that I barely knew a soul there.
During the ceremony, I stayed toward the back, trying not to…

My Dearest Joran,
I’m writing to you from the small confines of my new quarters aboard the USS Tokyo. I’ve just finished unpacking some of my boxes (including that little holo-frame you gave me on Trill) and I thought of you halfway through stowing away my tool kit. The Tokyo’s corridors are a little narrower than I remember the Republic’s, but the hum of the engines is every bit as reassuring. I’ve already found my favorite view—on Deck…
