Ambitions Chief Engineer of a Starship or Starbase
Hobbies & Interests Early Morning Running
Tuhjur is almost always awake before the ship’s artificial dawn cycle begins. Running has been part of his routine since his Academy days, but, after joining with the Mil symbiont, it became something deeper — a stabilising ritual that helps him integrate the layers of memory and instinct he now carries.

He prefers long-distance runs through quiet ship corridors or holodeck simulations of Trill’s wooded trails.

The solitude allows him to process the subtle emotional echoes of previous hosts.

Some mornings he runs to clear his mind; others, to burn off the restless energy that comes from carrying multiple lifetimes.

Crewmates often joke that if they see Tuhjur running, they know the ship’s day has officially begun.

Playing Pool
Tuhjur developed an unexpected love for pool during his time on Starbase One. What began as a casual pastime quickly became a favourite way to unwind after long shifts.

He enjoys the precision and geometry of the game — angles, momentum, and controlled force appeal to his engineering mind.

The Mil symbiont’s past hosts occasionally contribute flashes of intuition, making his shots feel almost instinctive.

He’s not overly competitive, but he appreciates the social aspect: quiet conversation, friendly rivalry, and the chance to relax without the pressure of duty.

On the Tokyo, he’s known to organize informal tournaments, often drawing in officers from departments that rarely interact otherwise.

Escape Rooms on the Holodeck
Holodeck escape rooms are where Tuhjur’s analytical mind truly shines. He approaches them with the same enthusiasm he brings to engineering challenges.

He enjoys both solo runs and team-based scenarios, especially those requiring creative problem-solving.

Mechanical puzzles, logic grids, and sequence challenges are his strengths, but he’s equally drawn to narrative-driven mysteries.

The joining gives him a unique advantage: different hosts’ memories sometimes offer unexpected insights, allowing him to approach puzzles from multiple perspectives.

For Tuhjur, escape rooms are more than entertainment — they’re a way to test his adaptability, strengthen his teamwork skills, and explore how the Mil symbiont’s influence shapes his thinking.

Personal History Tuhjur grew up as an only child on the Trill homeworld, living a fairly ordinary life on the surface — but from an early age, he was fascinated by how things worked. While other children played outside, Tuhjur was happiest taking apart household devices, studying their components, and putting them back together in better condition than before. By adolescence, he had become the unofficial engineer of his household, saving his mother countless repair bills by fixing nearly anything that broke.

Driven by curiosity and a desire to understand the galaxy beyond Trill, Tuhjur applied to Starfleet Academy. He became the first in his family to be accepted, and once there, he excelled. His strongest subjects included engineering, propulsion theory, history, and xenolinguistics — a combination that made him stand out among his peers.

After graduation, Tuhjur’s first posting was Starbase One in orbit of Earth. He earned a promotion to Ensign and soon requested a transfer to the USS Tokyo, unaware that the journey to his new assignment would change his life forever.

While en route, the transport vessel intercepted a distress call from a critically damaged private ship. The sole occupant was a joined Trill, Lerani Mil, gravely injured. Moments after Lerani was beamed aboard, their vessel exploded. Despite the crew’s efforts, Lerani succumbed to her injuries — but the Mil symbiont survived, though barely.

The ship diverted course to return the symbiont to Trill, but Mil’s condition deteriorated rapidly. Without immediate implantation, the symbiont would die. Tuhjur was the only Trill aboard. With no time, no specialists, and only a brief, apologetic lecture from the Chief Medical Officer — who admitted he knew very little about Trill joining — Tuhjur agreed to the emergency procedure.

He lay down on the biobed as one person and awoke as someone entirely new.

Tuhjur Mil became not only the first in his family to serve in Starfleet, but also the first to be joined in more than two centuries. The sudden merging of identities, memories, and instincts reshaped his future in ways he could never have imagined.
