Mission: Flight Of The Valkyries

Timeline: Current

Thomas paused a moment, before entering their quarters. Listening in case the baby was fussing, and when he didn't hear anything he entered their quarters, looking around, he found talia laying in bed.

"Catching up on your shut eye are we."

Talia nodded. “Definitely, plus I’m sore as well. Having surgery definitely isn’t as easy to get over. Do you know how many layers they have to go through for a c-section?” She moved to sit up wincing a little as she did so. “I won’t be running around for a little while.”

"Can't say I have had a c-section." Thomas replied, "I asked Nezuko to come over, there is something we have to discuss with you."

The quarters move had been completed, and Nezuko was just next door, with a very secure chambered airlock between. Every failsafe any of them could think of ensuring that no wandering little ones would ever get a breath of poison air. The worse it caused was a slight unpleasant smell for the Johnsons when their side of it opened.

And open it did, so Nezuko could come in. She waved at her found family members.

{Hey,} Thomas signed as he invited her into the bed. {Just waiting for you to arrive.}

Talia smiled warmly as she looked towards Nezuko. {So what is this you both need to talk to me about?}

Nezuko did not want to beat around the bush. {Away team,} she signed. {Anxiety around very unsafe missions. This one and future ones.}

Talia nodded. {Ahh I see, you’re worried about me going off ship now I have little one here to look after?} she paused. {I understand your concerns, but I really don’t want to be tethered to the ship especially when I can be of help.}

{No, we are being transferred to the Armitage temporarily. There is a mission, that will require us to be transferred off of the tokyo. If successful, it may assist us in gaining some ground against the iconians.}

{Ohh I see} Talia nodded. {To be honest I hadn’t stopped to think about that.}

{Its good that you are keeping your mind on the baby.} Thomas replied as he sat up. {He needs to be your top priority.}

Talia smiled at her son. {He’s one of my top priorities, the others are right in front of me, I want you both back onboard safe and sound at the end of the mission.}

{We will be I promise.}

Nezuko playfully gave Talia a military salute.

Talia grinned. {I want you both back, you hear me! I don’t plan on raising our son as a single mother.}

Looking to Nezuko, and back, "You won't," said Thomas.

Nezuko just nodded in agreement. They would be back.
