She speaks with a Texan drawl when she speaks, which isn't very often, and her words come out slowly. If one can get her to talk freely, she often starts slow and then picks up speed and is difficult to stop at that point. | Personal History | Grace was born on April 1st, 2373, the last of 6 children of the Real Beef Magnate Vincent MacKenzie and the one most often left behind by the rest when she was younger. By the time she grew into her teenage years, her parents had been all 'yahoo'd' out and didn't attend most of her extracirricular activities. Grace became interested in riding as a young girl and grew into an excellent rodeo rider, becoming the Texas State Teen Lady Champion when she was 17 years old. She repeated the next year before sending in an application to Starfleet Academy, just wanting to get away from home. She had applied as a 'General' officer major, but rapidly became enamored by flying and during her flight testing came out as one of the better pilots at the Canberra Academy campus, moving into the fighter program and rapidly discovering that her aim was just as good in the cockpit as it was with the trick shooting she'd done before as well. Upon graduation in 2395, she was assigned to the USS Foch, where she was assigned a number rather than a call-sign, in the traditions of the carrier since she was laid down. Foch was destroyed in a battle against the Iconians and she was picked up by USS Tokyo |
